Essential Foods Highland Living is a grain-free, chicken-free and potato-free dog food. Inspired by the Scottish Highlands, it is made with excellent local and regional ingredients such as Aberdeen Angus beef, Norfolk black turkey, pigeon, partridge and of course Scottish salmon. The high-quality Angus beef has an exceptional taste and provides protein rich in zinc, which supports healthy bones, a shiny coat and an optimal immune system. Turkey meat is rich in magnesium, which strengthens the heart muscle, and calcium, which strengthens bone tissue and teeth. Scottish salmon is rich in Omega-3 acids, which reduce cholesterol and ensure a healthy and shiny coat.
Sweet potatoes are rich in vitamin B6, which reduces the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, and vitamin C, which protects against viral and bacterial attacks, regulates digestion, helps with wound healing, and has a beneficial effect on the skin. FOS and MOS help restore intestinal flora and ensure balanced functioning. Blueberries stop the aging process, have an anti-inflammatory effect, and reduce the risk of bladder inflammation.

The first bag of Essentials brings about a change in eating habits. You can gradually introduce Essentials into your dog's diet over 4-7 days, or make the change from one day to the next.
It is very important to adjust the daily amount of food to your dog's needs. Overfeeding can cause loose stools. Therefore, we recommend that you spend the first 2-3 weeks finding the perfect amount of food. When your dog's stools are firm and your pet is happy, you have found the right portion size.
